What We Do

 
We apply behavioral insights to create impact. We do this by addressing the “intention-action-gap” – the gap between well-intended strategies and systems and actual user behavior. Organizations often focus their efforts at the front of the value chain in strategy and policy design, paying less attention to end of the chain, how these services and policies will be experienced by their users. Our work builds on the organization’s existing processes and policies. We identify behavioral barriers and increase efficiency by designing incentives and choice environments that bridge these barriers.

Our Offering

Behavioral consulting

We use our BOOST model to analyze your strategic challenges that involve creating or influencing a behavior. Attempts to change behavior often rely on the assumption that people act in a rational way. We know today that this is far from true. We help you identify the barriers to success, challenge the assumptions that have been previously made and understand the behavioral factors you need to consider.

Behavioral interventions

We design, test and implement behavioral interventions that help you achieve your goals. These interventions can involve creating improved incentive systems that take into account what really motivates individuals. Or they can take the form of “nudges” – an alteration of an aspect of the choice architecture that relies on behavioral science to steer people in a particular direction while preserving their freedom of choice.

In order to translate the identified behavioral solutions to long-lasting change, your organization needs certain capabilities in place. We work with your team to identify and train behavioral ambassadors in key behavioral concepts that will ensure that future systems and processes in the organization are designed in a way that is aligned to achieve the behavioral change you aim for.
